I have been addicted to Disney pin trading lately and on my last trip to Walt Disney World I kind of went all out. I even got a pin bag/ case for it.
Here is my collection. I am planning to give away some pins as gifts to my friends.
I simultaneously love the case and hate the case. I love it because this is a great way to display my pins and carry them around with me. I hate it because the pins are a pain to put on the page and some pins keep falling out. Anyways as you can see I am trying to collect as many Figment pins as I can. I also love chase variants (the ones without color).
Just as a little PSA. There are A LOT of fake Disney pins going around Disney World and I have gotten quite good at spotting these fakes. There are a bunch of the same fake Disney pins that you see everywhere (there are some very good YouTube videos on this subject), some fake pins you can spot just by looking at it (faded colors, rough edges, etc) and some fake pins you can spot by feel (eg feels too light). You definitely want to come prepared if you want to get into this hobby. Also a common tip is to get “Disney” pins in bulk on eBay and trade those. These pins are almost certainly fake and I don’t want to be part of the problem. I like to go to the Disney Character Warehouse (their outlet store) at the beginning of my trip instead to get a bunch of pins to trade. You can get pins for as cheap as $2.50 a piece if you are lucky.
